How do i get my dad to stop yelling and blowing up like a bomb in my face?

Nothing wrong about talking with the pastor in groups. Sometimes you need to talk to an outsider to get a frsh prespective on things. I don't think your dad is going to change anytime soon. Just calmly answer his questions and then go about your business. Do not turn up the music or walk away, as you found out, that causes more problems. Just stay to yourself if you have. If needbe get a tutor from the honor society at school to help you with your math.
