2-stokes in high altitude or 4-strokes?

i have a 2003 gas gas ec 300 and i was thinking about taking it to colorado and riding alpine loop the highest part is about 16,000 feet do 2-strokes run better than 4-strokes in high altitude i know With the proper jetting of course
