Tongue Piercing healing questions?

Ok, I got my tongue pierced 5 days ago, and allmost every morning when I wake up, there is blood on my tongue. I did tons of research and I have never heard of this reaction. I have a vein in the middle, but my piercer went around it. it bled for about 2 mins after I got it done, nothing major. I was also told that the morning after it would be swollen and very painfull. it never happend. it feels better and better everyday, hardly any swelling even. I have a slight nickle allergy, but my piercer used a titanium barbell. I rinse after eating with 1/4 biotene, 3/4 water. I have only been drinking water and eating soft foods, popcicles are the hardest thing lol And no offence, but please dont tell me how your friend has a friend, whos sisters mothers cousins kid had this happen. thank you in advance :)
