Viewing pathology slides?

I have a couple of pathology slides I'd like to view, but don't have a microscope. Is anyone aware of a way to view the slides, i.e. if I were to contact a local university, for example, would they allow me to view the slides, and if so what would I generally need to ask them, or does it not work that way?
