If wrong concentrate coolant is put in your car can it cause car to overheat and can it damage your car?
had fluids changed and my car flushed ,couple days later my car overheated . called mech. there and took it to let them check car.the mech.said the wrong concentrate coolant had been put in my car.causeing bubbles in coolant . he kept my car for aday and flushed it several times and said he got all the bubbles out and it wasnt overheating any more seemed to be ok. a day or so later the heat gage went slightly higher than normal. took car to mech. he said it was ok to go up some . that was begining of aug. yesterday the car started beeping and when i looked it was the heat gage on hot. my car never over heated before they changed fluids and flushed it out . i have a 1999 plymouth neon, bough it new and it has 35,000 miles ive taken excellent car of it. if the person that changed the fluids and flushed out my car put wrong concentrate coolant in my car can that damage car and cause it to over heat.
