Do you only buy brands when doing supermarket shopping?

Hey just wondering do you only buy named products when shopping, or do you buy value?Personally it depends on what im buying, for soup, beans, ketchup it has to be heinz, bread has to be kingsmill, warburtons, cat food has to be felix/whiskas (basically coz they have decided they only like it) but most other things I can cope with the like asda's own but I draw the line at asda price and tesco value, etc goods yuck - the packaging even looks evil, so goodness knows what its like! What do you think?, Thanks
